Vibe Shift

If you’ve been around here for a while you might have noticed a bit of a vibe shift this last year or so, I thought it was time for a little explainer. 

When I (Em, hi 👋) started Sovende Bjorn, our business was very much all about the outdoorsy vibe; being in the woods, up a mountain or in the sea. But, lately my life has been a little closer to home and a bit less all about the adrenaline.

Since having my first child our family life has been a bit slower, it’s been full of long afternoon picnics, time spent at home, cooking and eating good food, good books (shout out to BookTok for forcing me to read Sarah J Maas) and enjoying the sunshine.

The work I’ve been making has reflected this, my designs have become themed around my current favourite things. Cocktails, books, and Summer vibes. The cocktails in particular have been so much fun to work on. Have you got a favourite cocktail you think deserves to be its own postcard of magnet? Just let me know and I’ll add it to the list

There’s lot’s to look forward to this year. I’ve got some brand new products coming out, all with our new fun vibe.

• First up; Ceramic Plates, these are so fabulous. Our Enamel Plates have been popular but, I wanted something that was functional as well as decorative. The first ten of these designs is ready now and you can check them out here. I'll have more coming in this collection soon, so keep an eye out on instagram where I'll be sharing all my favourites. 
• Tea Towels are getting a make-over. They’ve been more popular than I could have imagined and are getting a whole bunch of new full colour designs including the cocktail range which has been one of my favourite collections to work on.
• Notebooks & Journals are still one of my favourite things to design, what can I say. I’m a sucker for an aesthetically pleasing bit of stationery. I’ve got big plans for the stationery range.
  
• Glasses, these are so new I haven’t even photographed them yet, so you’ll have to imagine them, picture lovely glass tumblers and stemless wine glasses, all hand printed with little summer motifs. A really nice addition to your cupboard or picnic basket.
• Little Bits, more magnets, bookmarks and fun little bits. I love a little treat and these are perfect for that.

Plus, we’ll be launching our monthly print club soon! Sign up over on Patreon when we launch and you’ll receive a Limited Edition print and sticker every month. This will be an exclusive little reward just for print club members. Designs will be seasonal depending on the time of year with fun little extras at Christmas and Summer holidays. I’ll share the link and do a big announcement when the club launches, so make sure you’re signed up to the newsletter to be the first to know.
